Since the inception of the Penta Motor Group in 2011, the company has grown into 13 dealerships spread out across Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and North West with branches in Montana, Menlyn, Klerksdorp, Rustenburg, Mokopane, Polokwane, Brits and Standerton.

Our History
2011
On a solitary bushveld trip, Philip and Roelof share an entrepreneurial dream: A unique vehicle sales and service environment that will change countless lives.
2012
Suzuki Rustenburg commences business in June, soon embarking a formidable adversary to larger Platinum City motor brands. Run by Philip, Roelof, and Taks, our brand's team spirit is born.
2013
Suzuki Klerksdorp opens their doors in May, shortly followed by Renault Klerksdorp who delivers their first Clio.
2014
Establishing our Gauteng footprint, Suzuki & Mahindra Montana opens with a bang in May, winning numerous awards up until the present day. Mahindra Klerksdorp joins the group, soon becoming an established household name within the Klerksdorp area.
2015
North West Motor Group family welcomes Nissan Standerton, rapidly expanding their product range. Our group is recognised as one of the top 5 national brands.
2016
In August, the North West Motor Group becomes the punchy-sounding Penta Motor Group. Founded by five partners, it's natural to use penta (Greek for five) as our new name.
2017
Suzuki Menlyn, the newest kid on the block, is acquired in February. Suzuki's exposure within Pretoria and surrounds amplifies. The franchise recently broke Suzuki SA's sales record.
2018
Penta Motor Group welcomes our Limpopo branches: Mahindra Polokwane, Volvo Cars Polokwane, and Mahindra Mokopane. Penta Klerksdorp builds bigger, better premises. The group's footprint expands significantly in the Northern provinces.
2019
Penta restuctures, welcoming new regional directors and after-sales specialists. Penta Klerksdorp makes headlines selling one out of seven cars in their municipal district!
2020
Covid-19 changes the course of history. During the lockdown, our in-house marketing team creates fresh, innovative ways that address mobility. We're excited for the future, lining up new projects to be launched. Penta welcomes our North West branch: Hyundai Brits.
2021
Penta ventures into the fleet and rental market, launching Drive and Penta Fleet Solutions. This year also holds some excitement with the opening of our Chery floor at Penta Menlyn. In addition, PMG officially won Suzuki's volume dealer of the year award 2020 with Suzuki Rustenburg being the overall dealer of the year.
